They are very important for getting pregnant. Omega 3 fatty acids increase blood circulation to the reproductive organs and increase ovulation. You can have one teaspoon of fish oil daily or one teaspoon of flaxseed oil.
Vitamin B12
Deficiency of vitamin B 12 can also be a big reason behind your infertility. This vitamin helps to balance your hormones and helps in the absorption of other essential nutrients. Women who are not ovulating properly must have vitamin B12. It will also normalise estrogen levels and help in the implantation of the fertilised egg. Vitamin B12 is found only in non vegetarian foods such as eggs, fish, chicken and meat. You can have supplements if you are a vegetarian (2.6 mcg of B12 per day).
Protein
Have enough proteins if you are trying to get pregnant. You must increase your protein intake by 25 percent of your regular intake. You must have high quality protein with all essential amino acid such as animal proteins (mutton, chicken, fish).
Folic Acid
Follic acid is important for ladies both before and during pregnancy. If you are trying to conceive then you must start taking folic acid supplements as its deficiency can cause infertility. Sources are lentils, liver, asparagus, spinach, black beans etc.
